How to Wash Your Hair

To be able to wash your hair correctly there are some easy to follow steps that will take you through the process bit by bit. Many people can make simple mistakes when washing their hair which can cause the hair to get damaged, dry or greasy and even split the ends of the hair causing the hair to not grow in a healthy way.

The first thing you should keep in mind to be able to wash your hair properly is to invest in a good shampoo and conditioner that is right for your hair. Everyone's hair is different so investing in the right shampoo and conditioner for your type of hair is a must. Many people will also use a concentrated conditioner or hair mask to be able to have a healthy hair.

When washing your hair, make sure to brush out all of the tangles first, when the hair is still dry. This will make the washing process a lot easier and also a lot quicker. Wet the hair with tepid water making sure your hair is completely wet, then apply the shampoo of your choice onto the roots and massage into the scalp and then into the roots, after, wash out thoroughly.

Once you have rinsed out the shampoo and made sure that all of the suds are out it is time to apply the conditioner of your choice. The same process is used as with the shampoo, massaging firstly in the roots and moving down towards the ends of the hair. Leave the condition on your hair for approximately two minutes then rinse with tepid water.

Once you have finished washing your hair do not towel dry it as this causes the hair to split and get damaged. The best thing to do is let your hair dry naturally and then comb through. If you are going to use a hair dryer and style your hair then it is highly recommended to use a heat protector serum or spray to not damage your hair.
